How To Apply for a Grant

Before preparing a letter of inquiry or grant proposal, please carefully review the guidelines and geographic limitations for your area of interest.
Requests for funding should include the following:
Brief cover letter describing the proposed project and the amount of money requested

Basic Organizational Information
include a brief statement of the organization's activities :
2. Contact Person
name, title, complete mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers;
3. Grant Purpose
issues and problems the proposed project will address;
4. Key Personnel
names, titles, and qualifications of the staff members who will lead and carryout the project;
5. Budget project
and the total organization budget;
6. Request/Duration
total dollar amount requested from the Foundation; length of time for which funds are being
requested;
7. Other Funding Sources
funds pending and committed from other funders.

The Nathan M. Warburg Foundation will be pleased to evaluate your request on the basis of the
following data and supporting materials:
1. A cover letter stating for what specific purpose you require fund and in what amount. 
2. The following financial information:
 • Current annual income from all sources, taxable or tax-free, earned or received, for each of the 
    last two years (broken down according to salaries, interest, rents, etc.)
 • Please indicate whether or not your spouse or other family members contribute to your income.
 • Monthly total rent or mortgage payments for your home and/or studio.
3. Other grants you have applied for or received in the last two years.
    
Further financial data may be requested, if necessary.
You may be assured that this information will be held in the strictest confidence.

 
Letters of inquiry and proposals are reviewed year-round. There are no submission deadlines.
We will acknowledge receipt of letters of inquiry received by email within three weeks.
